I have been coming to Upstairs Hair Salon for several years. Marina is the best hairstylist for my needs, and even though I live farther away, I don't mind going to Pasadena just to get my haircut. I tend to change my hairstyle quite regularly, and each time I show up with a picture of how I want my haircut to look, Marina delivers. She probably experienced all hairstyle trends throughout the years and makes the cut to work with each person. At the end of my visit, she always styles my hair and shows me how I can do it at home, so my haircut doesn't just last till the next shower. I genuinely am grateful to her for making haircut appointments enjoyable and free of regrets.
I’ve been going to Marina for years. Her cuts are fantastic; I often get compliments on my hair. Her coloring skills are excellent as well. The BEST!
We were visiting the area and I wanted to treat my daughter to have her hair done, so I chose a salon within walking distance of our hotel (Westin). I am SO incredibly thankful to have found this salon. It is conveniently located, spacious, clean and the owner could not have been more awesome if she tried. She did a beautiful job with the color and gave my daughter gorgeous curtain bangs 😍. First time in a long time my daughter walked away from a salon confident and happy. I was also really impressed with the cost, no price gouging here. If you are in the Pasadena area, be sure to schedule an appointment at Upstairs Hair, you will not regret it 💯.
I have been having my hair colored/cut/styled by Marina for about 3 years now. I searched for a long time to find the right fit and she meets my expectations. She listens to my wants and needs. The salon is in a great location, extremely clean and Marina is the BEST!
I came to Upstairs Salon for a cut and color. Marina was awesome! She took her time and has a lot of pride in her work! I left with a fresh new doo and a beautiful blonde color. The place is very clean and in a prime area of Pasadena. I highly recommend Marina. I will definitely be back and I’ve found my favorite hair salon.
